About DIY Dandiya Decorating

Navratri is here, so let's make it personal. At this DIY Dandiya Decorating workshop you get your own pair of plain wooden dandiya sticks and turn them into a festive, one-of-a-kind set you'll be proud to carry to every garba night.

How you'll decorate: - Wrap your sticks in bright silk and zari threads (red, green, gold and more) - Stick on little mirrors (shisha work), stones and lace ribbon - Tie on ghungroo bells and colourful tassels so they jingle with every beat - Our host shows you the patterns and techniques step by step, no experience needed

What you get: - 2 dandiya sticks per person (one pair), yours to take home - All decorating materials and tools - A cosy, festive workshop at Rude Lounge, Powai

Please note: this is a decorating workshop, not a dandiya or garba dance night.
